Refund Policy – Exploravelia Wild

Exploravelia Wild (“we”, “our”, “us”) follows a transparent refund policy. Wildlife safaris in India are controlled by state forest departments, and their rules directly govern our refund process. Please read this policy carefully before booking.


1. Safari Bookings – STRICTLY Non-Refundable

All safari bookings made through Exploravelia Wild are 100% non-refundable, as mandated by the Forest Department.
This applies to:

  • Cancellations by the customer

  • Change of plans

  • Late arrival or no-show

  • Incorrect details submitted during booking

  • Missed safari due to personal issues

  • Expectation of sightings not being met

Once your permit is booked, the amount cannot be refunded under any circumstances.


2. Zone Changes / Timing Changes

Forest authorities have full control over:

  • Zone allocation

  • Safari timing changes

  • Vehicle/guide assignments

These changes are not grounds for refund.


3. Technical Errors or Failed Payments

You may be eligible for a refund only if:

  • The payment was deducted but the booking did not get confirmed

  • A duplicate payment was made for the same booking

Refund timeline:

  • 5–7 working days (depends on your bank/payment gateway)

You must provide:

  • Transaction ID

  • Screenshot of payment

  • Contact number and email


4. Hotel Bookings & Travel Packages

Refunds for hotels/resorts and travel packages depend entirely on the individual partner’s refund policy.
We follow the conditions provided by:

  • The hotel

  • The resort

  • The transporter / operator

If their policy states non-refundable, we cannot override it.


5. Cancellation by Exploravelia Wild

If we cancel a service due to:

  • Unavoidable operational issues

  • Government restrictions

  • Weather emergencies

  • Vehicle breakdowns

We will either:

  • Provide an alternate booking, or

  • Offer a refund as per government/hotel rules

We do not compensate beyond the booking amount.


6. Wildlife Sightings

Refunds will not be provided due to:

  • No tiger/leopard sighting

  • Poor weather

  • Low visibility

  • Route restrictions

  • Any natural limitation

Wildlife movement is unpredictable.


7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds (only in allowable cases) usually take:

  • 5–7 working days for banks

  • Up to 10 days during high traffic or bank delays

We cannot speed this process.
