Best Time to Visit

The park remains open from October to June. Winter months (November–February) are perfect for spotting wildlife in the crisp air, while the summer months (March–June) increase your chances of seeing tigers near water sources. The park remains closed during the monsoon (July–September) to allow the forest to rejuvenate.

How To Reach ?

AIR

The nearest airport is Jabalpur Airport (approx. 160 km), well-connected to major Indian cities. Khajuraho Airport (approx. 250 km) is another option.

TRAIN

Umaria Railway Station (35 km) is the closest railhead, with regular trains from cities like Delhi, Katni, and Jabalpur.

ROAD

Bandhavgarh is easily accessible by road, with buses and private taxis available from nearby towns such as Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, and Khajuraho.
